Theodor Seuss Geisel (Pseudonym Otherwise known as a Pen Name) (Dr Seuss)
Born: 4 March 1904
Died: 24 September 1991
Age When He Died 87
Dr Suess’ Most Famous Books are Cat In The Hat, Green Eggs And Ham,
Believe It Or Not Dr Suess’ famous book Green Eggs And Ham Has Only 50 Words
And He Was Dared To Do it By a Friend
And He Was Dared To Do it By a Friend
He Made Cartoons For The Army In World War 2
He Was The First Person To Use The Word Nerd
My favorite book he made is Green Eggs and Ham because it’s filled with entertainment and rhymes.
The book is based around a person called Sam-I-Am that has a tall red hat and yellow clothes,
trying to make a dog with a tall black hat and yellow fluffy skin eat green eggs and ham.
After declining the dog eats the green eggs and ham and loves them.
The message in this book is to try everything even if you don’t want to.

Week 7 Term 1 2019 - What is Lit Club?
Welcome to our first session for 2019.
You will be able find information about everything we have covered in the slideshow below.
Welcome to Lit Club 2019
WELCOME!!
Welcome to the Lit Club blog. On this blog we will be keeping a record of the books we present at Lit Club and also a lot of other information about authors, different genres (types of books), general information about books and libraries.
To join Lit Club you must be in Year 4-8 and be prepared to read, read, and read some more. We will be sharing books, talking about authors, taking part in a lot of quizzes and basically having a lot of fun with literature.
This blog is an exciting place to visit to get ideas about new books, old books, picture books, non-fiction and fiction.
